Working with a wedding planner
Give them their own login, and take it back when the day has passed.
Giving somebody their own way in, and taking it back.
- Open Settings and find Who can edit this wedding.
- Put in Their name and Their email, and press Invite.
- They get an email. It brings them to a page that makes them an account — they do not need one first, and they never see your password.
- Until they accept, they are listed as Invited, not accepted, and you can withdraw it.
- Once in, they see the guest list, the dietary summary, the timings and the budget as those things stand right now.
- Remove them when the work is done, from the same list.
One planner login can hold several weddings, so somebody running six of them moves between you without signing out of anything.
What they can see
Invite your planner by email from Settings. They get their own login — not a copy of your password, and not a spreadsheet you emailed them last Tuesday.
They see the guest list, the dietary summary, the timings and the budget as those things stand right now, and they can work the checklist alongside you. One planner login can hold several weddings, so somebody running six of them moves between you without signing out.
You can see who has access at any time, and remove them when the work is done.
If you are the planner and a couple has invited you: the invitation email brings you to a page that makes you an account. You do not need one first.
