Getting started

When you sign up you choose a web address — something like emmaandjames.nearly-weds.com. It is yours from that moment, and it does not change when you change your design, so it is safe to print on anything.

The first twenty minutes

1. Open Wedding details and put in your names, your date and your venue. Everything else reads from here — your website, your invitations and your checklist — so it is worth doing first.
2. Open Website and pick a design. There are seven layouts, each with its own typefaces and a set of colours chosen to suit it.
3. Open Guest list and add a few households. You do not need the whole list to start.

Nothing is visible to anybody until you press publish. Until then a stranger who somehow knew your address would see nothing at all — not your names, not your date, not your venue. So take as long as you like.
