Your gift list
One link to wherever your list lives, and what to say above it.
We do not hold your gift list. Couples use a department store, a honeymoon pot or a charity page, and what they want from us is somewhere to put that link and something kind to say above it. So this screen is three things.
- Paste the link to your list — wherever you chose to keep it.
- Write the message that goes above it. “Your presence is the best gift, but if you would like to contribute to our honeymoon…” is the sort of thing.
- Change the button if you would like to. Left empty it reads “Our gift list”.
No money passes through NearlyWeds. A guest presses the button and goes to the shop; everything after that is between them and it. We never take or process a gift payment, and we take no cut of one.
Showing it, or not asking at all
Plenty of couples would rather not ask. The Gifts section can be taken off your site from this same screen — you do not have to go and find it under Website → Content — and a site without it looks like a site that never had one.
If you would rather say something than say nothing, leave the section on, write your message and leave the link empty. The words appear and the button does not.
